extruder filament guide

Filament guides

Printed some filament guides because filament kept flinging the copper extruder bit out at the end of the spool, fairly roughly printed but works well. Bought a Creality Filament Runout Sensor because 3D printing should be fun and not some stressy control job. Noticed higher nozzle temperatures with fan at […]

Hand Drawing 3D

This is so awesome, so i didn't need a printer in the first place? 3D drawing artist be like: "i don't draw, i manifest!". Only E25,- at Amazon, also good for small repairs:

skull supported

3D printing enclosure

Build this 3D printing enclosure. Looks like a mini 90ties disco or weed growing tent. Printed steampunk skull, think i might not remove the supports.

Really getting into this

3D printing glue arrived, did a printing angle test. Turns out it prints a whole lot more precise with fan turned to maximum speed – which i did not do earlier because that would detach the print from the printing bed. Good thing it’s waterbased too, that’ll save some cleaning […]

cybordragon

New 3D prints

New Shrunken Head 3D print and Runic Drakar. Earrings broke off with removal of supports, need to get better with those. Cybordragon went well, bit of a harrowing time removing supports but very rewarding detail.

3D Printed

Ordered another 2kg of 3D printing filament. Need to get some acrylic paint. Poised to buy a laser engraving machine to add more detail to 3D printed stuff, found one cheap and strong enough. This was a tough one as the Nexa Rust font of my website is absolutely not […]

skullplant

3D Printing

First project: skullcactus. Aaannndd ‘we’ are off, first attempt failed due to first layer not adhering to the base plate, second attempt seems to go well, fixed it by adjusting plate temp: Big success!! New doorsign already edited because printing that skull takes *forever*. Not really but i'm used to […]

Creality 3D printer

Creality 3D printer

Bought it, thoroughly impressed by my own boldness but i think it’s better than diving into VR too deep. Real world application of long forgotten 3D drawing skills.
